Deepak joined Foresite in 2022 on the Investment team. His work focuses on evaluating investment opportunities in biotech and healthcare companies.
Deepak is a physician-scientist. He completed his MD at Yale, where he was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellow. He then completed clinical training in medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and cardiovascular medicine at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular and population genetics between Brigham & Women’s and The Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard.
