Alisa Mall Joins the Managing Director Team at Foresite Capital

I’m thrilled to announce that Alisa Mall has joined the Foresite Capital team as a managing director. 

Alisa was most recently at Carnegie Corporation, where she served as a managing director for 11 years, focused on the management of the firm’s real estate and natural resources portfolios, as well as inflation-linked strategies and absolute return strategies. At Foresite Capital, she will be responsible for corporate development, long term capital strategy, investor relations, and ESG engagement. 

The strength of our team is a source of pride for me. In 2011, I took my combined experience as an entrepreneur and an investor and built Foresite Capital from the ground up. My aim was to capitalize on opportunities that I believed would address the greatest unmet medical needs, while also emphasizing the use of data science tools in healthcare. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished — and we could not have done it without the strong team we have built. With the addition of Alisa, the team welcomes a top-tier talent with diverse experience and a unique perspective. 

Alisa was born and raised in the Bay Area, where her father is a physician and an early investor in radiological technology. She began her career as an attorney in San Francisco. She now resides in New York City with her family, including two young daughters.
